Michael Phelps will be gracing the cover of Sports Illustrated for a sixth time next week after completing his Olympic Masterpiece, 8 Gold Medals. There’s no question that Michael Phelps stole the show at the Olympic games this year with his record breaking performance of 8 Gold Medals in a single Olympic Games, and also setting World Records in most of the events. Its no doubt Sports Illustrated loves the guy right now, hell, we all do, how many people do you know who haven’t heard about the 100m Butterfly where Phelps extra half stroke won the gold by a hundredth of a second, so close it was almost impossible for the human eye to tell. It wasn’t until I saw the Underwater photo of the finish that I finally saw where Phelps touched first, by less than a fingertip.
