Pineapple Express: Opening Tonight (View the Trailer Here)

If you haven’t heard the names Seth Rogen or Judd Apatow in the past few years, you’ve probably been living under a rock, or just flat out have absolutely no sense of humor. Apatow has been involved in such films as (Writer or producer) Superbad, Knocked Up, Talladega Nights, The 40 Year Old Virgin, and so many more. Seth Rogen has been involved in a lot of his movies as well, the first of which I saw him in, was the 40 Year Old Virgin. He played “Cal” in that flick, and ever since seeing that movie, I’ve been a fan of the guy. He has absolutely hilarious comedic delivery and for me, has yet to disappoint in any movie he’s been in (Although I haven’t seen them all).

This movie also stars James Franco, most famous for his role as Harry Osborn aka New Goblin (Son of the Green Goblin). For the first time in his career (that I know of, anyway) he steps into a major role in a blockbuster caliber comedy. Like I said, unless you’ve been living under a rock, Judd Apatow + Seth Rogen = Comedic and Box Office Gold. Franco plays a very different role than the public is used to seeing him as, and he plays it perfectly (At least from the little bit of footage I’ve seen). What? You don’t believe me? Hell, check out the trailer below to see for yourself! Or better yet, go check out the Pineapple Express at your local cinema, starting as early as midnight tonight. But for now, enjoy the trailer:
