Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull Opening Tonight!
Well, its been a very long wait for fans of the series, but tonight we’ll all finally be able to enjoy another brand new Indiana Jones movie. I’ve followed the production of this movie just kind of off and on throughout the past few years. It seemed like the script was re-written so many times that there was no way it was ever going to get made. But I guess they finally came up with an acceptable script and all the major players, Spielberg, Lucas, and Harrison Ford all signed off, and a few years later, here we sit with the movie releasing tonight.
Early reviews have been mixed, but it seems like those who were fans of the series are generally the ones giving it higher reviews. So if you’re a fan of the series, that’s definitely a good thing, and if not you probably don’t care too much about this movie anyway.
How about you guys? Are you a fan of the series? I personally grew up with Indiana Jones alongside of Star Wars and always held it in high regard. My personal favorite was “The Last Crusade” and I don’t think there is any way they could ever surpass that for me, but that doesn’t hinder in anyway my excitement for the new flick. I’m sure it will just be another fun, interesting, and exciting installment to the series, and if they deliver on that, we’ll all walk away happy.
I’m hoping to go see it this weekend sometime, but am expecting to have to deal with a crowd. What about you? Are you gonna see it opening weekend?
it would seem that the recipe of a good Indiana Jones film would be 1 part Nazis and 1 part Biblical Artefact… the Soviet army does a pretty good job of replacing the Nazis, but the other thing…
What? You trying to say a crystal skull isn’t as good as the holy grail? :p
It’s getting good reviews so far. Averaging 2.5 to 3 stars out of 4…I personally can’t wait to see it.

@Bryan: Yeah seems to be about where the reviews I saw where. One thing more than any I’ve been seeing is that if you are a fan of the series, you’ll enjoy it. So I’m definitely looking forward to it.
