A little while back I made a post about the new Coldplay CD Viva la Vida…or Death and all his Friends. In that post I included the Video for the first Single off of the album, Violet Hill. Now perusing the Coldplay official site this morning I clicked on a little icon on the main page that took you to a video, a different video for Violet Hill. Honestly I haven’t looked too much into whether Coldplay made this video or whether a fan did it and they put it up on the site. I would think that if they put it on the official site as kind of a little “find me” type icon with no other text on the video page, that it would have been made by the band. Inside you can see the politically charged lyrics for Violet Hill, and this alternate video. Its definitely worth the read and watch. Let me know what you think.
